Paulina Romano is a Connecticut-born guitarist and a graduate of Berklee College of Music. Surrounded by guitars her whole life, she didn’t begin her guitar journey until the age of 15. Less than a year later, eager to learn everything she could, she joined her high school jazz band and later became a member of a local music school. Paulina is experienced in a wide range of genres, including pop, indie, R&B, blues, and metal, with rock as her forte. Versatile on both electric and acoustic guitar, she brings passion to every performance.

Paulina's musical prowess has taken her on tours across the U.S. and Europe, performing on festival, theater, and arena stages. Notably, she was a member of the voice of YES, prog rock vocalist Jon Anderson’s backing band. This included playing lead guitar on the hit song “Owner of a Lonely Heart” and more, as well as providing backing vocals on “Roundabout.” While touring in Europe, she performed two sold-out shows in London at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire and headlined two nights at Germany’s Frank Zappa festival, Zappanale. Paulina has also toured with punk singer Gibby Haynes, frontman of Butthole Surfers, contributing both lead and rhythm guitar on the band’s songs while incorporating other styles and arrangements. Most recently, she toured with past members of Frank Zappa's band, including Ray White, Scott Thunes, and Robert Martin.

She was featured as a guitarist for Guitar Night: Rock and Pop, known for showcasing Berklee’s top guitarists. Additionally, Paulina appeared in the premiere episode of Berklee’s 'unCOVER' series, where musicians were challenged to learn and record a song in under two hours. She was selected for Berklee’s Lady Gaga Ensemble and also performed at the sold-out Career Jam showcase, which highlights the most recognized students in their industry expertise. Paulina concluded her college experience performing at the Commencement Concert at Agganis Arena, honoring Q-Tip, Ledisi, and Gilberto Santa Rosa. She earned a degree in Guitar Performance and Recording & Production while actively performing and recording in Boston.

Following her time at Berklee, Paulina's career has continued to flourish. She made an appearance on NBC News and performed with artist Nancia at Boston’s televised 'First Night Boston' event. Paulina was also a featured guitarist for Windborne's 'Music of Led Zeppelin' sold-out tribute show, performing alongside a 27-piece orchestra at Boston's Emerson Colonial Theatre. She is currently available for touring, performance opportunities, studio sessions, and guitar lessons.
